Returning bigger and better in Spring 2025 – Check back for updates!
This annual celebration, deeply rooted in the community since the program’s inception in 2016, unites local teens through a shared passion for music and arts. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, “Teens On A Mission” returned, underscoring our youth’s resilience, unyielding spirit, and dedication to creativity and cultural expression.
All proceeds from this event directly support the operational needs of the High Voltage Music Program, a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for teens in grades 7-12 across San Antonio. This program emphasizes the importance of accessible music education, particularly in schools where arts and humanities programs are underfunded. By offering free guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard music lessons, High Voltage ensures that financial barriers do not hinder students’ ability to explore and cultivate their musical talents. “Teens On A Mission” is a platform for young artists to showcase their work. It embodies the community’s collective effort to nurture and empower the next generation of musicians and artists.
The event’s success, exemplified by its longevity and ability to adapt and thrive even in challenging times, illustrates the program’s commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young artists. As we continue to celebrate and expand this mission, the support of our partners and benefactors remains crucial in ensuring that the arts remain a vibrant and accessible part of every teen’s life in San Antonio.
